@nneevveerrmmoorree All of which goes to show that it's the music which is more important than the technique. Which has had the greatest impact on the most people?

@ibanezhartke71 Hendrix influened all the greats. Macalpine hasnt. Eveyrone who has picked up a guitar since Hendrix has been influened by him in some way. He started playing at age 15 and died at 27 whih is only 12 years his career was 3 or 4 years and he accomplished all he did in such a short period of time. Macalpine has been around for almost 20 years 40 years after Hendrix death he is still significant. So far I dont forsee Tony being as valuble. Great but not greater

aaah weoon. tengo guitarrista favorito del segundo semestre !!
Bravooooooooooooo !!

I find it sad that most of the commenting here to are too busy comparing and putting down other guitarists.Tony,Jimi, Satriani, and Vai all have unique styles and backgrounds. To say which guitarist is better than the other is highly opinion based.
Just enjoy their music and aprreciate the fact that all of these guys have special talents to be proud of and that they are willing to share them with the rest of the world.

Yeah but at least Steve Vai gives him props. At every Vai show I've seen with him he always introduces him as the bands "Musical Genius, and good at anything he picks up", or prodigy, or something of that sort.
