is firefox better than safari?

I enjoy it more... I find it is both faster and more stable. Plus there are a pile of add-ons/extensions that I couldn't live without... Firefox definitely gets my recommendation.

Hey, thanks for the post. I just bought my freinds Macbook Pro with Intel duo core processor, can I upgrade to Leopeod in Oct.? What do you run on?
Ryguy1450 4 years ago
Yes, you should be able to upgrade fine to Leopard when it launches in October. Obviously it isn't a free upgrade, but you should still be able to run it...
As for what I "run on," I'm assuming you're asking which MacBook Pro I'm using? It's the new 2.2ghz 15" LED screen model that was just released last month. Unless it was the month before that it came out. Either way, it is the latest model...

hey do u prefer to resize the applications so they take up the whole screen. It's one of the things that bugs me about OSX is that the maximize button doesnt maximize the program to fit the whole screen. What are your thoughts?

I agree, but once you get used to it things aren't that bad...
Honestly, I don't use the maximize button. I just resize the Firefox window to fill the whole screen except for the dock. Everything else I usually run at default size, unless I need it larger. Then I just resize them manually to fit my needs.
