We all know we need oxygen continually, and cockroaches do too. Here is a simple experiment showing how neurons need a ready supply of oxygen to keep firing their wonderful spikes.

  • Yes and seeing if the recovery times change with different insects. A discovery might be awaiting..maybe some insect has a crazy long oxygen retention time.

  • was just thinking a data table of response from insect legs and how they degrade over time as cells die slowly over time.
