  • Read his book. Many of the snipers who supposedly had more kills weren't hunters and scouts like Hathcock was.

Helicopters would drop them off to pot shot at crowds of enemy, pick em back up and move to another mountain top. The Army had those in Vietnam and we aren't impressed.

Carlos Hathcock lived in the muck and fire ants and blistering sun and drank swamp water for weeks to get one shot, one kill.

  • reading a book about him pretty amazing

  • @matteeeeez well it was supposed to be a joke so yea i was actually making fun of the faggot call of duty snipers

  • @iDropShot856 do you want him on your cod team?

He was a sniper, real sniper, not a clown that runs and shoots.

Oh,he did not "quickscope" or "noscoper".

    those are mw2-3 inventions.

  • best sniper in history i would love to have him on my cod team

  • @christopher5361 he never had most of his kills confirmed, Im sure he had hundreds of them. The reason he's such a big deal is because he wrote the book on modern jungle warfare scout/sniping, and because of the high value targets he killed.

  • @JeffHardyfan9111 and jesus got a sex change and is now my sister

  • Why must it come down to "who's the best sniper?" simo and Hathcock are probably rolling in their graves. Both men had amazing attributes. Simo had 505 confirmed kills, but hathcock stalked a general for THREE days. Both are amazing men and credit to their nations.

  • @JeffHardyfan9111 umm sure dude..

  • Carlos Hathcock is my Great uncle or Great great uncle

  • @Suppressingfire I guess so.

  • @PArtajaakko112 to my knowlage Simo Hayha didn't even used a scope, he prefered iron sights. that tells me his kills were no longer than a few hundred yards. Hathcock had longest kill shots in history at that time with only one shot. Both had great qualities.
