Shut up!! We lost Vietnam, fled Somalia with our tail between our legs and we are about to lose in Iraq because our brave leaders think war is a video game. Stop picking on the French, there hasn't been a war on US soil in any living citizen's lifetime. Bravery is easy when it isn't our towns being devastated. Not to mention we wouldn't even be a country without the French. Just because you can be a jerk doesn't mean you have to.

The definition of the "word" France comes from "Franc", a group of people who lived in Gaul-the ancient name for France. It means FREEDOM/FREEPEOPLE. Frank, Francisco, Francis etc., all mean "freeman/woman" and are derived from the word "French". So "Freedom Fries" are still FRENCH Fries.
Before you critisize, remember-the French were right about Iraq! Our soldiers are fighting a losing battle, and too many have died. Exactly as predicted by the French. They learned from Viet Nam; we didn't.
