@MelanieToxicBrutal No, you don't have to have a roommate. ^.^ (I live in a private and I don't have a roommate). If you don't want a roommate there are two options: A single room or a private. Yes, you can request a roommate. That doesn't guarantee you will get that person, but there is a good chance. And you only have one roommate in the traditional residence halls. In the apartments you have up to four people living in one apartment.

Hey. i'm thinking about going to MTSU :) I have a few questions though, so if theres any you can answer, that would be amazing :D
1. i live in MA now, is it ALOT harder to go to college in a completely different state than where your home is? (i dont mind being away from home)
2. are there alot of parties?
3. is it easy to make friends?
4. is sharing a room with someone that bad?
5. which hall would you reccomend? (for a freshman)

@lexilexibish It's awesome that you're thinking about MTSU! I may be a little biased...but I highly recommend MTSU. And sure, i'll answer your questions! ^.^ Since you have so many i'll send the answers in a private message here on youtube because comments have a crappy word limit..bleh.
