The Sims 3 - Building a House 15 - Dans la Maison - Part 5 - The Ground Floor

This house was a request that I accept while I was doing my Coloured Set (I'm still not taking any more) by Ded0099, who gave me a very good brief, which was why I accepted.

Now, with the lovely kitchen out of the way, onwards for the rest of the ground floor!!!

I suppose my main focus were the feature walls on each side of the house and a matching furniture set for that wall... it makes the house a bit more colouful which may also be a negative... =\.... I think it's not too bad. Opinions?

Lol, I probably spent too much time styling the Toyota Prius, I usually don't include cars in my house cos it jacks up the price unnecessarily.

Throw in some generic lounge rooms and a bathroom and viola! We have ourselves a ground floor!
I am having reservations about the white tiling of the floor, I need suggestions to make it better...... I'm thinking my favourite floorboards...

Dan la Maison took 5-6 hours to build altogether and costs $273 000 furnished and $160 unfurnished.

I am getting the Sims 3 for christmas and I might download this house and use it... but it would definetly need tweaking. I dont really understand why you had a seperate bathroom and toilet? I would take that wall out and completely redecorate it. I love your houses, dont be offended, but I just would want to put my own stamp on it :)

i am making my sims 3 stuff in comparison to you but i can't make a kitche and islands just can't be made.. they don't flow together.. and i have nno other ideas for a kitchen lol

I have wondered why you don't use any sculpture to decorate your houses.. in some of your mansions, I can almost see some of the stuff that should go there.. but then just bookshelves end up occupying the space. :(
