  • Good vid, I'm glad there are people who use their position to sent out a good message to other people. On a side note, I'm sooo tired of these youtube ads. I have seen this Loreal Root Rescue ad like probably 70 times in the last couple of days and 20-30 times in a row. Honestly, if you have to have ads, at least switch them up a bit. I honestly hate that product now and I am completely boycotting it. There is such thing as overadvertising.

  • I think you missed my point actually, I agree that people should recycle material and didn't mean that you guys are telling us to buy new material. I wasn't questioning you dedication, rather the choice of programming.

This video is a DIY channel advertising a book that tells you about a bunch of indie designers that make clothes from upcycling. I agree with upcycling and think you guys do a great job broadcasting the message its just that what attracted me to threadbanger was doing it myself

  • just her name alone is so eco-friendly :D

  • i think you missed the point of what she said. unfortunately, people, a lot of people, still buy new clothes. she is helping educate individuals about how clothes are made and the benefits of organic farming, upcycled materials, etc. every project we've done on a friday, has been from a recycled item. 2 times in the past 2 years, i used something new to make a garment. one was organic cotton yarn to make a hat, the other was organic bamboo fabric to make a skirt. i'm very dedicated thanks *sigh*

  • Was just after they won me back with a decent tutorial on fusing plastic. I know it's good to be giving indie designers their breaks but thread banger was never about buying clothes and other stuff. I still fondly remember the video where they made vintage genes with coffee they found in a dumpster... *sigh*

  • I know ridiculous!

  • So this video is an add followed by an add...?

  • Am I allowed to wonder how "green" it is to come out with yet another book like this? And what about all those little plastic containers of makeup and lotions and whatnot? Much more eco-friendly to tell people how to use what Nature already provided.

Yes, I know...I'm a curmudgeon. Deal with it.

  • wow kwlll
