This is great looking footage! That 200T film stock is some amazing stuff. Where and how did you get the 16:9 aspect ratio? Was that cropped during the transfer? I'm going to be shooting 200T next week both inside, outside and mixed. My goal is to achieve perfect color balance outside and inside. Then mix the pale blue color shining through the windows with the complementary inside. First attempt at mixing color temperatures while maintaining control of them. Don't see my footage? I failed.

This film looks fantastic! I'm not sure what you mean by a notch hack,.. but the 85 balances this stock beautifully when you've got the correct exposure,..which you had nailed all the way through this short piece. I've yet to see some Beaulieu footage that looks worth a damn probably because of the shutter speed at 24fps. Took me some time and a lot of figuring but I think I got it nailed. Look for some of my footage next month using this 200T and also the 500T. Great looking stuff!

Man this is great looking footage. You can't go wrong with a Canon 814 or 1014XL-S. The 85 worked perfect for color compensation and saturation was awesome. When you say "notch hack" are you referring to the automatic ASA reading of the film cartridge with the use of those tiny pins in the camera. Did you use them or override them? Great looking stuff. Can't wait to post my footage next month.

That was in response to the question of whether or not they were homosexuals.

what is the notch hack? and is it necessary.
i plan on getting a 814 or 1014 (very similar) and i want to know if i will need to do this too.
also i would like your opinion on stocks. i plan on filming a movie that will be inside with light, inside dark, and outside daylight. is there one film stock that will work for all of these. or should i use different ones.
i have lots online about stocks but i want opinions from real people.
do different stocks make scenes look noticably different?
when using differently sensitive stocks like 200T or 500T will the built in light meter adjust to the different stock?

Well duno if it works perfect, but it works fine for me using the built in 85.

It is built in 85. Kodak recomends 85B but this work fine also.
