A quick look at my new smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S2 LTE, from SK Telecom.

Came with:
Phone
Two batteries
Battery charger/case
Power cord
USB Data cable
Headphones
Extra ear buds
I'm paying
62000 won/Month for:
350 Minutes
350 Texts
Unlimited 3G data
4.5 gb of data on 4G*

*Up until February 2012 I will be getting 4.5 gb of data a month on the 4G network.
After that it goes down to 3 gb. If I want to continue having 4.5gb of data on 4G I will have to pay 9000 won/month.
I will also be charged 9900 won the first month for the USIM (sim card).
And an additional 3960 won for the first 5 months which I'm not exactly what for.
And the phone costs me 123000 won which will be paid in installments for the first two years.

Also 4G isn't setup in my little city of Icheon and it won't be until sometime next year. So I will be on the 3G network in Icheon but if I go into Seoul I will have access to the 4G network.

It's kind of complicated but I think for the first 5 months I'll be paying ₩88,160 per month.

  • Was that mac miller

  • @freanklin416 Yup

  • may i know whether the cellphone carriers sell phones outright instead of in a plan? and how much would this phone be?

  • @samiao90 Not entirely sure but I heard in order to cancel your 2 year contract a year early you have to pay for the remainder of the phone which will be around $200. Or you can transfer your contract to someone else, for example a new incoming teacher, and it won't cost you anything.

  • help me how to fix my galaxy S 2 LTE, korea made... he randomly shutting off.. tnx

  • @BieksaKeslerBurrows Yeah, it is. Then what is it then? Maybe it's different in other markets but this is what the Samsung Galaxy S2 lte from SK Telecom in South Korea looks like.

@MrPuso24 That actually happened to me a few times as of late. I just pulled the battery out and reboot it and it was fine after that.

  • @dpark14 music is sickk broo

  • @MrPuso24 How about trying the Samsung contact department?

Or if you have a protection plan on your phone, you might as well have it sent back and get it fixed for free.
