For Black History Month, Alexandria Library honors Ms. Gladys Davis, who worked for the library for 60 years, and witnessed much transformation during her tenure. Ms. Davis knew the African American gentlemen who participated in the 1939 sit-in, one of the nation's earliest Civil Rights peaceful protests. Library Director, Rose T. Dawson interviews Ms. Davis.
