@TheDeadSource lol, I'm studying to be a teacher, I just can't help caring. And people do become ignorant in this case, because they've never heard of Kazakhstan in any other place, or Romania (where the gypsy village scenes were filmed), they never heard about more than half the world, they actually have no information, and the little they have available, does nothing more than reinforcing already stablished stereotypes, like Borat.

@eskorbutin89 I don't normally stay long on youtube comment discussions but I will say this; if those people are 'becoming' ignorant by watching a comedy film, then I would have to dub it 'natural selection'. You are obviously not that stupid, so I don't see how this is your problem. It's those said people's problem, and their stupidity will eventually be their undoing. Which bothers me, is, besides people who, apparently like you, actually understands the concept of satire, there are thousands of people, actually believing that there are people out there who washes their faces in the toilet, to say the least. I'm sorry about the grammar thing, I kinda lost patience, besides which you speak quite good English for someone to excuse their Grammar as "I'm not a native English speaker." At any rate, media isn't produced for the sake of people that will not appreciate it, so just avoid it if it offends you.

Anyway, the point is, or was, not to promote ignorance, which is exactly what Borat does, by misinforming people.
