I'd like to have seen the differences explained between the options from top available manufacturers. As a newbie, I'm not going to buy anything used online. I want to know what I'm getting so I have a better idea what to expect. If I buy a bad used blade, it would turn me off to straight shaving.
thank you for these videos, I really enjoyed them!
I found this paticular one useful from the collectors point of view but I missed some tips for those of us who just started shaving with a straight razor and want to buy a second hand one. Especially when you are new and don't have the equipment and know how to hone, buying a razor that is in mint cond. wont necessarely make you happy, because many razors are just not shave ready. Not all beginners know so. Apart from that great job ;)
Lynn...could you post some reviews and thoughts on larger 7/8 blades and up please?

buying vintage you can pickup fro anywhere from 10-50 bucks BUT majority of the time in that price point would need to be restored.
