This special is a retrospective of WDSU-TV's coverage of before, during and after the 1984 World's Fair in New Orleans. WDSU-TV was the only local station to have an on site broadcasting facility where we originated a live weekday morning show highlighting the fair. Although the 1984 World's Fair went into bankruptcy during its run, WDSU-TV benefited from our involvement as did the redevelopment of the New Orleans riverfront and warehouse district.
