  • Love all the videos! I was very into the hobby years ago. I recently decided to start another tank. I'm having the same problem finding live rock that is affordable here in Michigan. Can you recommend a website where I can find affordable live rock? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

  • @bjohnson5924 Im going to get the rock for daren's tank from Bulk Reef Supply. It's dry rock, which cost a lot less. Their high-end dry rock cost $3.50 a pound and with live rock around here that goes for $8.50 a pound thats going to save him a lot of money(plus you save on shipping too). All you need is one piece of live rock to seed the rest of the dry rock. side note a fresh water dip will kill off any pest that my live on the Live Rock so they do not make it into the aquarium.

  • @MadHatterReefs Thanks so much for the advice man! I will have to check that place out. Around here the rock is going for anywhere from $10 to $14 per pound.... I got kids man!!! HaHa! Your channel is one of my favorites on here so far. Can't wait to see the progress on Darren's tank. Take care , and thanks again!

  • @bjohnson5924 I'm setting up a 20 gallon tank in my spare bedroom that is going to be a quarantine tank/ Project tank. Whan I started this channel I didn't make very detailed videos on my 130 gallon system build so I'm going to make up for it with this 20 gallon build.

  • Excellent video bro!! With all the footage that you took it must have been hell to process. I liked that you filmed and then sped up the vid. I did this in my RO video.

Keep the vids coming. I am stuck working in NYC from the hurricane. So, no vids from me for a while.

  • @adjusterfrank Thanks... I feel like I over did it a little bit with the speed up, but I like to get as much content in their as I can and not wait a year for the video to uplaod on YouTube. I'm sure I"ll get better as I go along.

  • 3:30 you spit on the camera lol good video!

  • Enjoyed watching the whole series, still gonna watch the rest... I actually enjoyed this like a marathon, haha take care dude.

  • @MadHatterReefs I will be watching. I'm still in the gathering stages of my tank. I have the skimmer, the lighting, my old power heads from my previous tank years ago and my heaters. I'm still looking for a tank. I'm kind of limited for space, so the tank has to be 36 long at the most. Pretty sure I'll be going with a 65 breeder, 36X18X24 high. All I need is the tank, stand, sand and rock and some kind of filtration. I'm just trying not to rush the process this time.

  • Alright will do!!

  • @MadHatterReefs LOL Look forward to it! LOL
