  • One of the greatest pleasures of Youtube for me personally is all of these excellent early Rush live recordings I never heard before. Anyone agree?

  • @poddish Hey, don't hate on the rapping skeleton! I happen to love that part of Roll The Bones. I know it might not be for everyone, but it just goes to show that Rush, a progressive rock band, can do rap better than a lot of artists out there today.

  • @JediMasterCheryl Yes, or from Canada with all our awesome bands too. Unfortunately much of that music isn't heard outside our borders (like Aussie bands too)

Rush has been my fav since Permanent Waves - our biggest export

  • Agree 110% 64lenster. Much Music (in Canada), and MTV dropped the ball, there is some great footage from a lot of great bands that, if not for utube, we would never get to see. These should have been played on those two channels.

    99luft ballons what.

  • Geddy's skreetch is life from 1976-today for me

  • This is the BEST Live version I've heard.. by the way one of my favs from the Ultimate RUSH album! where can I get a copy of this complete concert(A Desert Passage) as shown at the beginning of this post

    OLD RUSH rules!!!!! 1974-1981

  • Dude, this band rocks!

  • nice to hear the chimes should have been chimes in the studio. 2012 high midnight.

  • @cudaj2 Thanks...this is by far my favorite band...either here in the UK or the USA...and at my age, I've heard a LOT of bands = big arenas to tiny hole-in-the-wall pit stops. Rush is far and away the most excellent music ever created in our day and age. Thanks again :o)

  • @JediMasterCheryl You said it!

  • @64lenster Almost but not quite. Still sounds weak, and frequency range is very limited. We used to collect boot CD's and LP's and they sounded hella killer on our home systems. Nowadays, these compressed streams are no comparison.
