@Mortskcab - Pete Rose needs to get a new Public Relations manager, and he needs to come across more like a Celebrity who is also a senior citizen. No shame in doing that, but there's plenty of shame in coming across like one's the world's oldest teenager. Come on - Does Mr. Rose really look all that cool, Etc., or does he look like an old guy trying to be young again? Now this: Is this "image" REALLY helping Mr. Rose's chances to get MLB to change it's mind on him? Big "NO" to me.

@Armyofficer - Bonds does NOT deserve the HOF...at least not until many years after Pete Rose gets in - - IF Rose gets in. I know there are some out there who think I come across as a prude concerning Rose's girlfriend, not to mention a lack of integrity in much of his life off the field. Well, Pete Rose has always been my favorite ballplayer, and it still pains me to write this stuff...but Pete Rose let down his fans as well as the Reds and MLB.

@Mortskcab - Yes, Rose played the game clean, BUT he did the deeds that got him kicked out of MLB. Yes, MLB and Bud Selig have responded poorly - Selig, in my opinion, is a multi-faced COWARD. Still, it's as if Mr. Rose has decided he can do nothing else to get in, so he'll live his life; forget the consequences. Cheating on, and divorcing his current wife...leaving her for a girlfriend he got into Playboy magazine; is almost 71, and he's acting like a kid with no responsibilites.

I am baseball fan . Doesn't matter to me what kind of person you are . I am there to watch baseball , and I don't care whose doing it as long as it 's quality baseball . Pete played quality baseball

Why do people care if Pete Rose is actually in the HOF or not? We know why he's being denied. We know he's one of the all-time greats. Is it really so critical that he have a copper statue made for him in Cooperstown, NY?

The Baseball hall of fame is a joke. They ban Pete for life but dont ban players who were caought using steriods. GET ROSE IN THE HALL! A man's personal life shouldn't bar him from the hall.
