Regarding the Bridge boss at the end of the video. You could of just stayed bouncing on his head, you don't have to move right to the other side after hitting him once, stay on his head for 3 hits and then move to the opposite side of where he fires his shots, plus you get a time bonus of 10'000 points for destroying him quickly.
