http://2dphotography.ca/blog - These are my opinions on when it comes to deciding on camera brands. I know there are many other brands as well that professionals use, but I thought for the sake of my argument, I'd keep at the two most popular being Nikon and Canon. I also do think there are some additional things that help decide on brand like if you have an current or older gear, especially for Nikon considering their mounting system has no changed for a long time. I just thought again, I'd keep it simple in this video.

Agreed on the mounting thing! I wish the old Canon FD's fitted the new Canons.

Very well said David. I love Nikon and have lot of their gear, but at the same time Canon also makes great stuff. Choose what makes you comfortable and you nailed it. Was getting sick of fanboys all over the net.

David, Nikon rocks, Canon rocks. All things being equal, after that you (anyone) can't argue the unique cinematic aesthetics of the Canon 5D Mark II. Any serious cinematographer knows about last year's finale of House MD, shot entirely on the 5D and Canon glass.
