Speaking of jobs, isn't there a Liberal Provincial government in Ontario? Last time I checked it was Ontario that was suffering the highest job losses. Wasn't Bob Rae running Ontario the last time they had a recession?

I think that it is sleazy and cruel to suggest that the federal Conservatives are to blame for the Listereosis outbreak. Was the Martin Government before them responsible for SARS, or flesh eating disease? Nobody is suggesting that some oversight isn't needed, just how much.

Last time I checked the Conservatives were using much of the surplus to pay down debt. So in your fantasy world we are to believe that the Liberals would bother to introduce a new tax if their aim was not to extract more revenue? We have a 140 years of experience with bait and switch tax shell games in this country that prove that this is the goal. Speaking of fiscal responsibility, Pierre Trudeau entered office with a $15 billion dollar Federal debt, when he left office it was $175 billion.

How is it a lie to say that a carbon tax wouldn't be on everything? How do you think that goods arrive at your local store? How do you heat your house? How do they generate electricity for the most part? Fossil fuels. Dione said that it was a bad idea to cut the GST, does that not infer that he would aim to correct that mistake?

Dion want's a new carbon tax on everything, promised to raise the GST, now denies it, all to pay for his multi-billion dollar promises, most of which they will forget about six minutes after they get sworn in. Bigger government, more spending, more debt and more taxes, and fewer jobs, are those the values that are right for you family? To impose a level of government regulation, taxation, and oversight that will kill jobs and make everyone poorer?
