For this coaster I decided to work up a new lift design for small coasters. it didn't work out, so i simply turned the lift into a launch. the result is a swinging arm-like mechanism, powered by weights. the first of it's kind in knex roller coaster building. I named the coaster Trebuchet because of how the launch simulates that of a real trebuchet.

  • Better than a drill launch, rubber band, rocket, and the classic chain lift.

  • This looks really nice, the mechanism for the lift was really great for the coaster. The speed is excellent, and the track is nice and smooth. Keep up the good work!
