@MrAntonLucas The ratio of silver to gold that has been pulled out of the ground in the last 3 years has been about 9:1. The price ratio is far from that, so that alone is enough for me to be bullish on silver without even considering that silver is actually used and consumed by industry.

@cjdontthink2 That depends on a number of things like how much you are buying, whether you have a place to store it etc.

I am heavily invested in silver for a variety of reasons, but I can’t help but worry that I have made a mistake. I question whether the cost of silver can much exceed the actual cost of mining it, which I understand is less than $10 per ounce. Is silver really that rare? Doesn't it occur naturally in the earth's crust at a rate far less than gold or other truly rare elements? How much of the earth's crust has been mined and/or is left to be mined? Please allay my fears.
@Danster82 I don't recall saying I liked or disliked her in this video :)

Rand had the "Jesus problem" with her apostles. I think Ayn's objectivism was a real threat to the Rockefeller "mixed economy" snake oil. She might have been actively mobbed by a Judas operation. High schoolers are always impressed by Rand's books- that an alternative to guilt-socialism & regimentation could actually exist by the application of free-will. Greenspan might have gotten off on Randism, but his function was always to destroy the middle class & upward social mobility.
