From the 1980's Showtime Special "The Paragon of Comedy" starring John Paragon Paul Ruebens, and the members of the comedy group "The Groundlings. In this sketch, Happy Joe has to choose his mate from three contestants including Elvira in a parody of the classic show 'The Dating Game'. "Nice suit, who shot the couch?".

I saw an interview with Paul while he was in character (Pee Wee) and a guy asked him "Have you ever had a date?" and he said "Yeah you know that movie girl Elvira, were like this *crosses his fingers* I'm on top haha."

This kind of humor is "politically incorrect" and I doubt it would fly today, but it is very funny IMHO.
