"Refuel Any Aircraft On Any Mission"
This video discusses the advantages of the Boeing KC-767 Advanced Tanker in the upcoming decision on the bid to provide the United States Air Force with new aircraft to replace its aging fleet of mid-air refueling tankers.
Argues that the airplane offers a variety of uses to US Armed Forces, from refueling, to passenger or troop transport, to cargo transport, to serving the needs of aeromedical teams. Beneficial to the country, as it is reliant upon 44,000 jobs in America and 300 American suppliers to build the craft, including Pratt & Whitney, Smiths and Vought. Is the right size aircraft for the job. Has decades of experience in airborne refueling, and uses a sixth generation boom to refuel.
With all due respect to Airbus, fuck Airbus! I have worked for an aerospace parts manufacturing company in WA for 15 years and proud of it. I believe over 75 percent of our work is for Boeing and I will be proud when I'm making 767 AT parts when Boeing wins this first of three major tanker contracts.

It sickens me that the USAF decided to go with the Airbus. If you look at Boeings tanker history and the history of USAF heavy aircraft. Boeing has the hands down best aircraft period! The KC-135 and B-52 is 50's era airframes, and still performing and outperforming later airframes! Not to mention the mission capable rate compared to any other airframe.
Bigger airfraft like the AirBus doesnt make it better, increased fuel consumption, building new hangars to accomodate the airbus, rediculous!

Great damn video! What confuses me is why the air force wants to buy planes from another country?
