I just got some new ammo, so I figured I should test it out on the local flora.

Ammo used:

-45-70 govt. 300 grain store-bought hollow-point
-45-70 govt. 405 grain custom load

Fired from a 1895 Marlin Lever-Action Guide Gun chambered for 45-70 govt. rounds.
If you're going into the woods expecting to see a bear, pack something you know will do some damage.

  • Mr Famous333 do you think that bullet would have enough momentum to injure a person behind that tree? just curious about ballistics.

  • @fragglegobo I have no doubt that it would be lethal to anything the size of a horse even if it went through a tree that size.

  • @aux1z11 Perhaps we should learn the difference between people and trees, Mr. Lorax?

  • Screw the tree, shoot a squirrel! LOL

  • @JohnTheHater I will do neither! XD

  • @Mrjalapenothethird That is all covered in the video.

  • I use this identical load in my 1895. It is impressive, both in terminal performance and in felt recoil.

  • i so want the 1895 cowboy marlin makes with the octagon barrel.

  • @mrfamous333 I hope some crazy-eyed bastard crushes your nuts under her heel.

  • What is the music?

  • @bandman232 Without trees you wouldn't be breathing right now, but it's not like a tiny hole is going to kill it

  • @mrfamous333 Best. Response. Ever.
