To finish up with this year I compiled some impressions from this year`s record winter freeze in Ireland featuring DARTs and Commuters as well as some beautiful window views. I had to catch some of these moments, because the tracks and platforms appeared so clean and bright as you have never seen it before. I was not dreaming of a white Christmas, it was just in front of my doorstep with up to 17cm snow. However, for commuting people traveling became a nightmare with plenty of delays, cancellations and door break-downs. Icy conditions slowed speed of trains and passengers were walking very cautiously on the platforms as most of them were not grid. The films were taken before Christmas on Grand Canal Dock and in Salthill & Monkstown.
