1st Ride of 2009

Been waiting to get the bike out since the new year but the wetaher has been so bad...including snow. Gave me a chance to use my new toy - Bike camera.

Quite a bit of quality has lost in the youtube conversion unfortunatley but you get the idea! I had fun trying it out.

Roads are around Alton, Hook, Hartley Witney & Odiham, plus a quick section of the A339.

Why in the hell does everyone ruin a nice video with loud ass music. I would M U C H rather hear the engine and natural sounds of the ride.

Dude, what r u smoking??? Everybody i've met agrees that the vtec sounds better, especially above 6700rpm (where 4 valves kick in). Not only people i've met but also reviews i've read from different countries.

I've owned both and there's no way I'd switch back, not in a million years :-p Not saying the pre-vtec is shit, it's a fantastic bike, i'll love it till i die, but the vtec is just that little bit better

Ah! The VFR800 (pre vtec)

Fantastic bike - wish I hadn't sold mine.

New VFR doesn't have the unique cam driven gears and therefor sounds dull - like every other Jap bike. Thanks for posting! Keep safe!

The video is quite good.

Unlike others, I don't like the music at all.

The bike looks pretty cool, although I prefer blue or silver. You seem to be going very fast - I know it is a fast bike. I would love to try it out. I used to ride years ago. Do you only ride for fun? Or do you commute on it? What is the fastest you have been on it?

What a fantastic video. I've been thinking of getting into biking for the past 2 years. Have an 18 month old at home which makes it a bigger decision but this video has cemented in my mind why I want to learn to ride properly. Thanks Chief
