I hate how their are laws you cannot own now just because breeders (Not all) abbuse them any dog can be vicious you just have to show respect at it and it will show respect back.

Well, all I know is that our pit bulls (we have three of them) have never ever shown any type of aggression what-so-ever towards people, not even barking at the UPS truck! All three love all people always. Our other dogs, not so much.
One problem is that there are so many poorly bred and poorly cared for pit bulls (the most popular breed in the US right now) that the number of opportunities for problems is simply higher than with other breeds.
