  • This is an awesome cover of Gatemouth Brown's hit and it's almost done note for note....better recording but Fat's destroys it...

  • I can not totaly agree with you , because this IS a great way to interduce this great song from famous C.G. Brown.

And you can't judge song from tones you hear, there is more that that. There is the way how he play it , in which clothes, on T Bones guitar , on famous TweedBassman, with sustain , on heavy strings, he is also one of the REAL (that's the way i called them all greatest guitarist).. so , please, respect for this man.

  • What's the name of the album that this is from? It's great!

  • Complete 1979 Studio Sessions from the Disc 1

  • One of the best ever! Stinking over dose killed him...what a waste.

  • Agree ...

  • He Great !!!!

  • fell in love with the man soon as I heard this....Jimmy Kay

  • Let's be honest here...Fats' version blows away the original.

  • @MaricDolowo90 When he says Fats "destroys" it, he means it's a great job. I don't think there's any disrespect for Fats or Gate - it's impossible. One listen is enough to tell any serious player that these are two of the greatest guitarists who ever walked this earth :-)

  • I just discovered this guy. I know, you're shaking your heads- you should; I know how it feels when someone announces they've "discovered" someone you've known and loved for years.

Well, all the same, I just heard of him- actually, I just watched a Blasters video featuring him.

Reading the comments here, I see that he died young, a drug casualty.

A great talent. This is classic early rock n' roll guitar playing, but not some preserved in aspic variety, but really vital playing.

  • Why would anybody with this much talent turn around and stick a needle in his arm??? Give me the talent!!!
