  • I need help doing echolink on my ft-2800m in yes it does do echolink I can't find out when in on you put the nodes in thanks if you have any ideas please hit reply in tell me please I can do it on the computer but not the radio thanks

  • I logged into my router with my browser and enabled DMZ for the ip addy that my computer is on

  • I had the same problem with my Linksys router. There are two ports you need to open.

EchoLink requires that your router or firewall allow inbound and outbound UDP to ports 5198 and 5199, and outbound TCP to port 5200. If you are using a home-network router, you will also need to configure the router to "forward" UDP ports 5198 and 5199 to the PC on which EchoLink is running.

Here is the link. If you can't figure out how to open them, call Linksys. They are very helpful. Good Luck

  • Are you using IPv6 or IPv4? If you're using 6 there might be some traffic routing issues :S
