  • @REVandEVO OH didn't expect that... didn't notice any hint of that in my CRV :) Besdies I rarely drive on highways..

Looking forward to it too! But I'm more inclined towards the new Everest hoping that it'll be based on the new Ranger. Hehe BTW, I heard there's a new Santa Fe coming out. Maybe this year or on 2013. What do you say on that? Haha

  • @nnr3 not really but the brakes could use more pedal feel... the only problem is crosswinds on highways, the strong winds can easily push the santa fe out of line,im looking forward to the new ford ranger, it has a 3.2 VGT diesel, has 200 hp and around 470 nm of torque, i wonder how fast it is ;p

  • @REVandEVO LOL NO! Haha! I actually find my CRV's brake very good for a non-premium compact SUV. They are excellent! Except when you reach the ABS-activating point the back seem to wiggle a bit LOL but not to the point of having a hairy moment of almost crashing onto somehing. HAHA! Why? You had an experience like that in a CRV? or Santa Fe?

  • @nnr3 how bout the CRV's brakes? are they well modulated? didn't you have any of those hairy moments were you felt you were about to crash into another car?:p LOL

  • @REVandEVO I got the 2.0 4x2 man. Hehe. Yeah it takes about 9 to 10 secs to reach 100 :)

  • @nnr3 that's probably the old 3.2 turbo diesel version of the Strada, the new VGT Strada can get from 0-100 in about less then 9 seconds, the CRV i guess thakes about 10 seconds.. I'm not sure though, do you have the 2.4? or the 2.0 M/T variant? happy holidays man!

  • @REVandEVO Oh? But I have a friend who has a 2011 Strada (I don't know if it's equipped with VGT) and I can beat him by about one car or one and a half car every time we sprint although not up to top speed maybe just some 0-100, 40-140, things like that. Anyways, Merry Christmas man!

  • @nnr3 100 to 150 kph is child's play man, it can reach 190 kph quite easily, although reaching to 200 kph requires a bit of patience since at 190 kph the santa fe seems to already run out of acceleration power, i've challenged a lot of vehicles in the highway and the only vehicle that seemed to be nipping at santa fe's heels was the Mitsu Strada with the VGT engine, petrol cars stood no chance in terms of highway sprints :)

  • @REVandEVO Yeah man it's not bad for a petrol powered SUV. I really like the economy and smoothness especially on expressways. But I envy those Santa Fe owners! They got the power and economy! Haha.
