I see a difference in the mandate in Mitts Mass Plan compared to Obama's mandate. Mitts plan only required a mandate if you showed up for care and couldn't/wouldn't pay for it. You are THEN required to to buy insurance. This is fundamentally different from being required to buy insurance at the start. Can someone tell me how I am wrong?

@HermannRattenhuber The sad thing is that most Americans aren't able to appreciate the freedom that we have in the US. Americans are admittedly sheep that are easily swayed by their feelings.

I dont even think Mr. Romney's plan was a very good idea. The way to resolve the issue of people being uninsured is one that can be handled omni-directionally. Get restrictions down, open up interstate commerce for insurance, cut taxes for the poor. Incentives for businesses to provide quality healthcare insurance... ETC... No need for a complete over all of the system.

Doesnt that woman understand that a government system is NOT competition but the destruction thereof? A government system ALWAYS wins out because it has an unfair advantadge, it is paid for by Tax payers and as such invincible to destruction. That does not mean it is better, it is always a bloated mess.

We in Europe are lacking politicans like Romney. In contrast to Obama and nearly all Democrats he knows how to establish a company to run a bussines succesfully. Left politicans don´t have any experience cause they are mostly employed by the state.
Whats even worse Leftists only know how sharing out money and not how earn it.

Mitt's my kind of president. Anti-religious bigots kept him from the presidency. He is amazing! Practically any question that comes his way is OWNED by him. He brings a taming whip-crack to every issue.
