In a speech that is as relevant today as it was in 1968, Robert Kennedy criticizes the way in which we measure our gross national product, and puts forth what he believes would make for a more fitting measurement.

Keep the global dialog open and together we will change civilization for global peace and prosperity. People are powerful and there is time to become the change you want to see in the world. Non-compliance will change the current global system.

  • Please realize or remember that none of this financial, polluting toxic waste, debt slavery, and corporate domination system is new. For five decades now these issues have been debated and the corporations and royal families have manipulated governments to their cause. Now it is time for the public to respond. Peaceful demands and revolts are possible with boycotts and global dialog.

Keep the conversation going, tell someone, share the message...

    LOVE & Peace

  • @ronmamita Debt slavery goes back to the Roman Empire.

  • @4dOp Actually it predates roman empire, but what is your point?

In those ancient times it was open and understood, however today it is hidden or disguised with legalese (legal fiction and deceptive contractual obligations).

  • @anukulrm that's no surprise. at those levels, if you fail to properly defend the interests of the powers, you're a dead man. sad but simple

  • @ronmamita True.. so silly.

By the way, love the lezzies at 1:43

  • Thanks for putting the question of how the GNP is measured back on the table. I had to eikiped the other day to remind me that all that is measured is sales minus salaries in units of US currency. And what is money used to measure? I thought it existed to facilitate equitable exchanges of different forms of labor time. And that exchange breaks down, people don't want to trade again, when they realize they are exchanging much more of their living time on earth in return for a second or less i

  • I would like to add to the comment by @ronmamita that along with the corporations and royal families manipulating governments to their own personal greed-filled and power-filled actions so too should be included the organized churches around the world.

  • @johnvena56 sadly, he's no longer alive. :(
