special announcement, reponse video for lisafreemont's channel

hi friends!

well, its been a while! i'v been busy being pregnant and stuff. haha! but really, i was sicker then a dog this time around. i didnt even register my car on time! so bad. anyhoo, this is my entry for lisafreemont's contest. i tried so desperately hard to get music from the movie, Ziegfeld girls, but to no avail. FAIL! i bought it and all. but really, im lucky i got this far with the computer. im not ashamed to say the computer won this time. so, i went with what i know. some good ol' rockabilly music. courtesy of my own cd collection. this movie is a great example of the time where the looks are ageless. beautiful. classic. and the costumes! that is what realed me in the first time i watched it. but also the three women who stared in it. Judy Garland, Lana Turner and Hedy LaMar. all three just amazing. the look i did was inspired by the picture. i looked and looked and this was one the best i found. thank you so much for watching!

on a more bitter note, the music i used originally was denied. so i chose some french song from youtube . i almost chose a song called 'aint that a bitch', but i just didnt fit. too bad. i am really kinda pissed. boooo youtube!

i think i have to say something like 'i bought everything in this video myself. nothing was given to me for free for the making of video, or any other video i make at that'. but really, my poor husband wallet is responsable for most. haha!

oh yes! this stuff is wonderful! i got it from my local costume shop. its called 'international costume' in torrance, ca. the number is 310-320-6392. if you'd like, i can get it for you, and post it for sale in my etsy store. it was $5.29 plus tax. so not bad at all. let me know! i'm more then willing to help out a fellow makeup lover!
