@jazalh IF ITS A ZERO INCH PUNCH THEN ITS JUST LIKE SETTING UR FIST ON THE WOOD, AND PUSHING THROUGH, AS A MATTER OF FACT....THATS ALL IT IS!!!!!!! but thats not what he did, he obviously pulled away, thus creating a 1/4 inch or a 3/4 inch punch, not a 0 inch punch >.>

Of course the arm is not fully extended, how could we call it a punch instead?

But nothing new, this is a Basic Rule in Wing Chun for example.

You "just" need to have a good body structure, and be very relax, no use of shoulder or arm muscle.

Even a child or an old person is able to do this.
