[1/4] Mikail Aslan Concert - Newroz 2009 [kurd1]

PART 1:

Mikail Aslan and Cemil Kocgün in the concert They made in Wuppertal this year, in Newroz (kurdish New Year).

With this concert, Mikail Aslan undoubtly becomes one of the best musicians alive in the Middle East. His style is truly different and, at the same time, in some cases He continues rescuing old poems and kurdish-zaza songs and totally renewing them, always giving his special touch.

The concert begins with one of his most acclaimed songs, 'Miraz' (Miracle), from his album also called 'Miraz' (2005), and it continues with a selection of some of Aslan's best songs, including 'Nina' (from his album 'Agerayis', 2000) and a selection of the new songs included in his new album 'Zernkut' (2008). I personally miss 'Iqrardar', which is in my opinion, Aslan's best song...

Attention also to Cemil Kocgün's masterpiece 'Tembur (Heyder)'.
