AMC Javelin 390 SST - Walk around American Motors Muscle Car For 1970!

The AMC Javelin was American Motors' Weapon against the Mustangs, Firebirds, Cudas, Challengers, Camaros and Cougars in the famous Trans-Am Series. Mark Donohue won the Series with the legendary Penske Javelin in the Years 1970 & 1971, before he died by Accident in 1975 at the Qualifing for the Austrian GP in Spielberg. For the illegal Streets Races in the early Seventies, the lightweight Javelin with the High Compression 390 Engine, always was a bigger Problem for all the Charger, GTO, Challenger, Torino, Mustang or Chevelle Pilots. I'm very very lucky, to own one of this hard to find Treasures!

this car is so unique. its like the best of all worlds. a hemi cuda style body/stance. ford mustang front with some chrysler stylings, a camaro/ chrylser rear and a nova/chevelle style rear (window area). i have the chance to get a 70 sst/mark donahue (not really donahue) 360 with a four speed and i really want the thing. hope i can get it.

@ccubsfan94 ...you right! for me it is also the perfect car of this time area. the 1970 model is hard to find in a collactable condition, specially the 360 - 390 sst models. and i really think this car is still underrated, perfect time to own one of this rockets. it is a real pleasure to drive, and the sound is awesome. just get it!

@surfordie82 you right! awesome was my first words if i se my car the first time by my u.s. car dealer. and if i hear the healthy 390 powerplant the first time, i must own this missile. it is a real pleasure to drive it to shows, or just to the market. hatever, it's fun! if you finish the resto of your unique car, you will love it - believe me. your car really have rare options, keep it alive!
