'For The Kids Of The Multiculture' is a characteristically upbeat take on contemporary cultural issues in the UK and is the first single to be taken from the long-awaited fourth SB6 album. A vital celebration of the diversity British cities, Kerrang! magazine observed "With the English Defence League on the streets and David Cameron making curious comments about multiculturalism, the positive energy rush these Manc street preachers inspire isn't just Day-Glo fun, but also a necessary reminder to tear down the
walls of prejudice". The 'For The Kids Of The Multiculture' single comes complete with brand new track 'Five Minutes With You' as the B-Side as well as tracks culled from The Boom's triumphant headline set on the Rock Sound / Macbeth stage at Hevy Festival across the formats.
SB6 have recently released their new single 'For The Kids Of The Multiculture' This Documentary looks into the bands thoughts surrounding the song and gives a glimpse of Sonic Boom Six on stage doing what they do best in Manchester.
@DangerousMoz Sure, ones that choose a culture of violence and agression. I refuse to say that someone has inherent value just because they conform to the criterea of 'human'. Our actions are a better criterea of judgement than the accident of birth don't you think?

@rustymcnally Doing it in a 'confused way' doesn't inspire me to DEFEND it, simply to UNDERSTAND it. From the moment riot clean up happened, ALL sides of the political spectrum tried to claim it or bash it. It was sickening. I'm against demonising PEOPLE which is the point of the video. Once you use words to seperate yourslef from members of society it's dangerous. While I can see political and social reasons for the riots, I wouldn't personally defend anyone smashing up shops etc.

I do like what the song's trying to get across. But I feel that at the end of the video, when all the young people pick up brooms and sweep stuff up, it's almost admitting "Not all young people are bad because not all young people rioted", when most of the people that rioted were good people, just going about getting their anger out in a confused way.

@pRaIrVkEoRur Totally agree mate, thanks! My point was really, in context, about the nature of blame.

@SB6Manchester Ahh, appologies that I missunderstood then! Like, I think government is responsible for essentially everything, but I still think we can judge individuals for the choices they make. Btw, your music is awesome :)

@pRaIrVkEoRur No one said they were. I didn't even suggest that. If that's what you got out of that, that's what you got but that's not what I said or meant.
