I have the same background in my fish tank :D and sand isnt bad some breeders swear by it and others hate it....personally i use sand and i havnt had a problem. A couple things are that your humidity is too high and your temperature needs to be around 90. And for the love of god please please freeze or boil your sticks from outside!!!!! They carry many mites and bugs that WILL KILL YOUR GECKO or any other reptile!!! Other than that sweet cage man :)

your temp isn't high enough and your humidity is 30% higher than where it needs to be..and how is your gecko gonna get out of the water bowl? i hope u cleaned that log too..
