@Onslaught808 shut it fanboi. they are much faster than amd, much more powerful, you got that part right. you put down 160 for an i3 2100 or 200 or more for a phenom II x6, the i3 will easily kick its outdated ass. and that is from testing, not just benchmarks, there is almost no programs that need to take advantage of 6 cores, and the things are more comparable to core 2 duos. AMd even said it gave up trying to compete with intel for high end CPUs, these are just facts, btw i have AMD comps.

@Onslaught808 actually the intel is also good for overlcocking.. they proved the Athlon64 vs P3 and P4 when they took out the fan from the motherboard and played Unrealtournament the p3 and p4 survived it just dropped from 40-80FPS to 2-5

and the AMD processors burned... but thats probably an issue from years ago dont really know how the AMD processor is now.. but anyways its right about the price
