XLCS built a super high charged computer for under $1250. We took a Phenom II dual core processor and unlock two cores turning into a Qaud core. Next, we installed two ATI Radeon 5850 video cards. of course, we overclocked the video cards and CPU. We will be launching a how to video, so the public can do this themselves. Email any questions about the build.

  • @TheDeathbutcher - well consider this video is over a year old plus Fraps kills the frame rate on the benchmarks that isn't bad. It also used older ATi drivers which were not optimized for those cards at the time. The fps was over 158 on that benchmark :) 23147 was the score. Feel free to look it up on 3dmarks site. Id is 12918497

This system is now probably worth that much now at well over 90fps ;)

  • ääääääääh i have over 90fps on 3dmark06...And my Computer costs 750€ .__.

  • @streetlevel84 a lot of cpu's are done this way, with some shit disabled if u want smth cheaper

  • excuse me but how could you unlock dual core into Quad core ?

  • I have the NZXT M59 Case it has all the features of a big $ case but is very low cost. The interior is all black (not cheap flat spay can stuff) but nice textured quality.
