your ideas about influencing kinetic energy because it's "already there" is flawed. An object moving at 100,000km/h has no more energy than an object moving at 0km/h. there is no energy "stored" in objects like physics teaches us. you can't measure energy, you can only observe motion and imagine a way to calculate it, same with time. We are in motion RELATIVE to other objects, but they are in motion RELATIVE to us.
read up on the michelson morley experiment on disproving "aether"
