  • @ Atxengamermemphis: you are correct, the FD is known for its great handling, putting in the 2jz will off set it due to the additional weight, however with the proper suspension, you can achieve the same great handling of the rx7 and the power of a supra all in one package. if you have any questions feel free to contact me. thanks and hello Germany :-)

  • is this a full 2jz block or 2jz top end and 1jz bottom end? thanks! oh and how hard is it to configure the swap also maybe throw in a price estimate? xD lovin it man!

  • @yodar1 its a full 2jz gte bottom and head, not 1.5jz or any mix matches all 2jz motor :-) i send you a comment in regards to that estimate, email me

  • @pinkpanthercow silly rotary lover, you have no idea what you are talking about, you look childish and sound down right stupid with everything you just said. what we have built here is a MORE reliable, MORE powerful, and MORE robust rx7, this video doesnt even show what we have touched upon with this car and what it can do, stay tuned is all i can say. if you dont like, fine, no biggie, but no need for ignorant comments, theres a place for ignorant/rotary humpers like you..... rx7club.com

  • first impression o.o OMFG fuck rotars love JZ's

  • @SexyAndlKnowIt 2JZ yes RB26 no

  • @JonathanCross23 i definately like the look of the FD. i would do a 2jz or rb26 swap on it

  • whats the point in buying an RX-7 if your not gonna use rotary?

  • hey bro, this swap is ingenius and i plan on doing the same to my 93 FD when i get back from africa...i love the beauty of the rx7 bodywork along with the power of the 2JZ, the perfect car in my point of view. One question, how much did you end up spending after the whole swap and what is your current setup, it doesnt sound like stock twins to me...please fill me in. Also, are there any clubs out there getting started with 2JZ swapped rx7's?

  • Very nice tony, cant wait to see this in action next season!

  • This car is perfect ..but the price I imagine is to hight for me ;D gj

  • @allweareisdust stock hood fits, with no clearance issues, loom through the shifted performance"s facebook. i have pics of the stock hood on there and shows the clearance, youtube wont let me post the link idk why

  • Respond to this video... It doesn't look like you can put a stock hood back on?

  • @pinkpanthercow rotary is not 1.3l it's actually 2.8 liters in actual displacement, and the "6 second rotary" was actually done with 3 rotor engine which is actually almost 4.2 liters in a tiny tube chasis race only car, it has NOTHING to do with reality. Rotary engine is amazing in the concept, but in reality nothing beats putting LS1 or 2JZ in lightweight RX-7 body. :)
