With four examples of a 'Type 2' Diesel, how could the GCR resist holding a weekend dedicated to them! The Diesels were accompanied by two steam enignes, five year visitor GWR Hall No.4935 'Pitchford Hall' and ex.LMS 8F No.48305 and the DMU.

  • Great Video love 4953 Pitchford Hall. is 4953 Pitchford Hall for a 5 year stay or just for the summer because i was looking though the GCR website and it says 4953 is hear just for the summer?

  • @BristolCastle Well, it's only been announced that it's there for the summer but it's looking like it's going to be here for five years as the owner is selling it and if it's over here, it will get some running. I don't think anything's been absolutely confirmed yet!
