@thedoctorTARDIS His show nickname is HRG since his name wasn't revealed until the finale of the season, and even then on the back of the dvds (even on the last season) They refer to him as "HRG"

Well, we didn't find out what his first name was until the season finale, and HRG is also what Bennet's name was in the scripts, so people started calling him that.
