At least seven people have been killed in Egypt in riots partly prompted by the high price of bread.

Al Jazeera's Sherine Tadros travelled to Cairo to meet the wife of one of the victims.

  • @SouledOut4Yeshua this is a reason of the global financial crisis...but u.s.a still has the best economy in the world dont compare it to egypt its a big mistake

  • @MissAsha69 as poor as you think they are! they are richer in spirit and heart than you and me and the rest of the f...n world!!!

we gotta grow balls and face the tirany they call democracy!!!!

  • I red an interesting book once, "The English in Africa", written in 1900 (!) , by Hon. David Mills, minister of justice, professor of international and constitutional law at Uof T. (Canada was a British colony then). The story of Egypt stuck in my mind....

It was the Rothchilds, the Jewish and the Syrian money lenders who screwed up Egypt! They were manipulated into debt.... just like the west is now.

  • The real problem in Egypt is that the ability of Egypt to feed it's own people has not kept up with the growth of the population. Therefore the country has to depend on foreign food aid.

The poor suffer the most. Jesus said that the poor would always be with us.

It is morally unconscionable to look the other way and ignore their plight.
