Congrats on entering into the final stretch of the pre-op leg of your journey. Once you get your surgery date time seems to truly fly. I'm only 7 days from surgery & I can't believe it's almost here.
As for the final meal mentality - I tried to resist, but I failed miserably. I ended up having a week long "final meal" fest. *sigh*
good luck w/ insurance - I'm hopeful everything works out for you regarding approval

If you're looking for some more literature on surgery what to do pre op and post op there's a book my surgeon recommended called Living a Lighter Lifestyle. I really enjoyed it.
