How to Steal Crap in Mortal Online

Mortal Online is an MMORPG that is of the FFA style. It uses the old rule set of Ultima Online. Item stealing is one of these features. If you pull it off, the guys doesn't know who took it exactly. Although if you fail, you turn "grey" and then anyone that says "Guards" will have you instantly killed. You could steal something and have the item, but then turn grey and be forced to hideout until you turn back blue so you can get back to the bank safely. Mortal Online is in open beta currently, so I suggest you give it a looksie while you still can.

There is no radar, no built in map system or anything. So you will need to sneak up behind them to be able to snoop and then steal the item you are attempting to take. As far as I know there is no stealth or hide feature, so being crafty about your approaches is key. It feels much like playing the Spy class in Team Fortress 2. You want to try to just stay out of their view so you can get to their back. Players can buy houses, and if they have their house key on them, you can steal it and go rob their house. Although i have yet to see a key just yet, I am sure I will end up grabbing one eventually. Granted, who knows where their house is anyways, so unless you catch them walking out of their house, it may be a very rare occurrence.

@LokesProduction I actually wrote all the music used in this video. Now there are a couple parts where the game music bleeds in and I kinda of mix them together :0 I have had some posts asking about it before, perhaps I need to get beatport or itunes going or something, if people are interested I will get it out there :)

@pontarn00 Well useless was a bit harsh. You can still steal a few things, but with the ability of people to just push you to lose your hidden criminal status instead of taking a risk and taking a swing first, it really changed the playing field. As well as now if you do fail you go like 10 to 20 minutes of ghost form to deal with, and it doesn't go down while offline. Now, you could do big hits like getting a key or gold coins at the right time, so sure the payouts can be big.

@trainermhs sadly they knew of this videos influence, and made it so trial accounts cant steal :( They knew people would use em as alts and such on the trials so they had to limit it. You would need to actually subscribe to steal :(

@aznboy3213 Mortal Online has a very effective counter against that, namely that the females aren't lingerie models like in all other MMOs, but realistic as well, so no one really wants to fap to them lol. Fact is as a result of this there are very few of them in-game.
