Parkland Health and Hospital System

The Parkland Health & Hospital System project, located in Dallas County, Texas, is a $1.27 billion healthcare campus that includes replacing the existing 54-year old Parkland Memorial Hospital. HDR Architecture, partnering with a team from Corgan Associates, also based in Dallas, was selected as the design team for the new 862-bed full service acute care replacement hospital.

parklan hospital is the wors hospital ever ..they make you stay in the waiting room for more then 12 ahour and thats emergency after 12 ahours.... USA have the worse helth service ever BAYLOR is BETTLER

We produced the animation, the software used was a variety of Autodesk products, Some of the base model came from Revit, some from sketchup. It was imported and cleaned up in 3D Studio Max and rendered in Vray. Alll compositing was done in Autodesk Composite which now ships with 3D Studio Max and Maya. Thanks for the complement. i work at parkland and it is going to be way bigger than the old one. The new one will likely stay open. Hopefully.

The model looks like the hospital will not be much bigger than what it is now - spending over a billion dollars - that should get a much bigger facility. Also, what about the Outpatient clinics?

Lastly, I am not trying to be rude or anything, I have been a happy 'case study' subject for over 5 years now in the outpatient clinics for a medical condition, and the model people in the video do NOT represent the people I see weekly at Parkland Hospital and outpatient clinics - they look more like people I see at Baylor or Presbyterian Hospital.
