  • Ahhh you should put a link to the picture on your desktop! So sick!

  • @TheMadsonProductions haha sure thing dawg - it's in the description now!

  • I almost don't like it when you release tutorials, because then it's not as unique. I kind of like the challenge of figuring out and breaking down a shot and replicating the effect myself, which I was actually able to do fairly well without this video...

  • @thegavinrudys True, challenge yourself to be that much more creative! This is probably the most basic thing you could ever do in after effects!

  • @abekislevitz very true. it's a ton more difficult in an instance where you have a dynamic shot, though. Gotta track the layer and then adjust for keyframe problems and such. THAT can take a while. also, why wouldn't you just put in an extra 20 min-ish, and instead of using the "darken" tool, do some really accurate moving masks (You'd only really need to mask out one side of the subject and move it frame by frame to adjust to movement)-I think the transparency on "darken" looks "unprofessional"

  • @thegavinrudys yeah you can definitely do that. I wanted to show that there are ways around tedious masking. once you understand the concept of masking you can go wild and do what you want. I used the darken method in the party in the park sequence and to me it worked just as well

  • @abekislevitz it would be cool if you did a tutorial on how to mount the GoPro to a ski pole. I know its a little different from your usual tutorials but it would be so rad.

  • it doesnt freeze when i click freeze frame

  • aids

  • Do you have to have your camera on a tripod or such? To keep it steady? or can you track the mask to move with the camera?

  • What is "alt" "open bracket"? :)

  • more tutorial please! Thanks dude!!

  • what's the song?

  • What mac do you have, how much ram?

  • It real work!!!! thanks a lot

  • Can anyone help me?

After I've masked my skier, he continues to be in the shot! He doenst freeze, but the outline of him continues all the way through the video. How can i stop him and continue with the next shot?
